MAIN FEATURES:

The purpose of this project is to carry out the expansion works of the Gral. Belgrano Water Treatment Plant to cover an additional daily flow of treated water of 1,000,000 m3.

The objective is to increase the water production of the plant from the current maximum of 1,950,000 m3 / day to a maximum of 2,950,000 m3 / day.
It is an international public contract for a project that has partial financing from the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).

The repowering of the current Raw Water Elevation Station is projected, which will increase its production by 350,000 m3 / day.
In this way, the flow of water produced will rise by 333,333 m3 / day (350,000 m3 / day – 5% for losses) once the works of this tender have been completed, reaching 1,000,000 m3 / day once the new lifting station has been completed.

The expansion of the Gral. Belgrano Water Treatment Plant will be carried out in the land adjacent to the current plant. This is located in the city of Bernal, in the district of Quilmes.
